How to Calculate GPA in Nepal
For a percentage, find the matching NEB grade band. For semester GPA, multiply every subject’s grade point by its credit hours, add those results, and divide by the total credit hours.
Example: A 3-credit A+ (4.0), a 3-credit A (3.6), and a 2-credit B+ (3.2) gives: (3 × 4.0 + 3 × 3.6 + 2 × 3.2) ÷ 8 = 3.65 SGPA.
